Home data insights
The home page lets you analyze the risk profile of your organization’s data based on the policies set up in Polymer.
Organization risk
The organization risk score is the cumulative risk associated with the events generated by your organization's policies and the actions taken by Polymer and users. It's recalculated daily.
Organization overview
The organization overview is a snapshot of your data security environment.
- Connections - number of Saas connections Polymer is monitoring
- Users - number of users who have generated events
- Groups - the number of groups that manage user permissions in Polymer
- Enabled policies - number of policies enabled to detect events and run scenarios
- Events - total number of events generated by policies
- Assets - the total number of assets that were part of policy events
Date filter and action menu
Use the date filter to update the timeframe of charts and tables below. The default date view is 30 days. Select another date range, like 90 or 180 days, or a custom date range.
Risk analysis
The risk analysis is a trend line of your risk score over time. Hover over the graph to see the risk score for a given day.
Policy analysis
Policy analysis contains trend lines of the total number of events generated by each policy enabled during the timeframe. Hover over the graph to see the number of events on any given day. Select the policy tag to show and hide policy trend lines.
Connection risk
The connection risk is a list of the top five connections with the most frequent and severe event activity. It displays the cumulative risk score for all the events and remediation actions detected in the connection.
User risk
User risk is a list of the most the top five users with the most frequent and severe event activity. It displays the cumulative risk score for all events generated by the user.
Asset activity
Asset activity is a trend line of the total number of asset types scanned.
The home page is focused on policy event data, which no longer includes historical scan data. Read more about historical scans to learn about the data insights contained in historical scan reports.
